I am a mother of two girls, ages 25 and 13, and two boys, ages 24 and 15. I was a first generation student. I am currently a professor of English, creative writing, and literature at Modesto Junior College. In my spare time, I enjoy writing, singing, crafting, gardening, spending time outdoors with my family, and volunteering in my community.
