She Became has partnered with Able Works in offering a program for Junior High and High School students.
Project Connect 209, is deeply rooted in teaching the importance of building healthy relationships and recognizing the signs of unhealthy relationships. This ranges from learning to love yourself, to maintaining healthy relationships with peers and family, and setting boundaries. During this program we will address topics relevant to the application of abstinence and the prevention of starting a family as an adolescent. Clinical terms and methods will not be used.
The sensitivity of the subject is considered, whereby Project Connect 209 is governed by California; requiring all facilitators to be trained.
Middle School and High School Cohorts will be open at different times. This program is open to teens ages 12-18.
