THE TOUGHEST YET MOST VALUABLE RELATIONSHIP IN YOUR LIFE IS WITH YOURSELF

Building a relationship with yourself is tough because you have to face the realities of your flaws. You can't ignore your inner self no matter how hard you try fight it

You can either let the bad experiences ruin your life or motivate you; either way you are going to have to deal with yourself

Don't focus on the mistake, focus in the solution

Self-advocacy is one of the most important factors in building a relationship with yourself

Everyday, self-advocacy should be at the top of your to-do list. You cannot serve others at your fullest potential when you are not serving your needs and growth.

In order for you to be the best leader you can be, you have to be the best version of yourself

It is so important to know, accept and love yourself

Know yourself

It doesn't mean that you can't change your mind about past beliefs and mindset

Understand what triggers your negative responses

Set boundaries

It is important to understand that no matter how much love you share within your circle, there comes a time that they will disappointment you; because 1) everyone makes mistakes,  2) it is humanly impossible for someone to be available every single time you need them and 3) you will not always agree

How you treat people is a reflection of how you treat yourself.

The more self-aware you become the more you will realize how much of an impact each of us has on earth

ONCE YOU'VE REFLECTED AND EVALUATED,

OUR VISION

She Became seeks to enhance the lives of girls through

  • social and leadership engagement

  • emotional support

  • positive relationship building

  • guidance

  • self-empowerment

We believe that when girls feel supported, confident, empowered, and have the right relationships and resources available to them, then they will become strong, secure and empowered to make decisions that will provide a better outcome for their future.

She Became’s vision is derived from the idea that education, mentorship, and community are interconnected; one cannot exist without the other. With our leaders’ combined skills and expertise as well as the relationships established within our schools, local businesses and community, we can have a great impact in producing many opportunities for girls + women.

OBLIGATIONS

"She Became holds an obligation to the girls, young ladies and women we serve; as it is the sole purpose of our existence."

Our commitment is to build relationships with

  • She Became leadHERs

  • members

  • community members

  • schools

  • local businesses

Each year we strive to set endeavors uniform to the services we provide, thus we have specific pursuits that we set forth. She Became holds an obligation to the girls, young ladies and women we serve; as it is the sole purpose of our existence. It is evident that people seek consistency in bonding; therefore it is imperative to establish not only a good-first impression towards interest, but a long-lasting impression that births their desire to build with She Became throughout their entire development in life.

It is our duty, within our capacity, to judiciously prepare a full calendar that reflects the obligations of the organizationAs a constant outlet for our community, we reinforce the accountability of self-development and uphold a high level of effort, adaption, progression and execution - especially in times of crisis. The more organized and prepared we are, the less stress and pressure encountered.

Our Commitment To Our LeadHERs

There is nothing more important than you! Your personal and professional growth and success are our obligation for we cannot hold prominence in our community without the contribution of your talents, hard work and resilience. With so much on your "to-do list", it is inevitable that you will get overwhelmed and, at times, reach burn out.

With that in mind, She Became commits to:

  • place you in positions/roles that best serve your interests and pursuits

  • provide resources in the area(s) in which you serve

  • promote your business pursuits

  • provide trainings in mental health, self-development, team culture, and policies/procedures

When you find yourself facing a challenge, we suggest you do the following:

  • stop, breathe (cry or yell); release

  • evaluate what you can and cannot control

  • focus on what you can control

  • take a break

  • remind yourself of your purpose

  • find the solution (and know when to ask for help)

Remember, for the sake of your sanity, it is okay to politely decline things that:

  • you don't have an interest in

  • you don't have time for
